 The Power of Us: Why Now is the Time to Reclaim Our Future

In my work as a data analyst and as the Founder of the You Never Know International (YNK-I) Foundation, I spend a great deal of time evaluating the metrics of our progress. Yet, beyond the spreadsheets and the mission goals we track, there is a fundamental human element that statistics alone cannot capture: our collective resolve. Lately, I have been reflecting on the direction we are headed and the potential we hold when we choose to look past our surface-level differences. It is time for a reminder of who we are at our core, and what we are capable of achieving if we simply commit to one another.

America,

This is not the time to give up. We are at a moment of change, and we all have the ability to shape it for the better. If we drop our disagreements for a moment to unite for a better tomorrow, we can do this together—can you feel that deep in your soul?

There’s nothing better than unity. We share a part of this planet that we care about: safety, respect, self-preservation, and the opportunity to do better, be better, and feel better. Let’s hold on to what is right and the good parts of ourselves. Maybe it will take a simple handshake; let’s return to the good we all believed in as children. Don’t you remember? We said we would make this place better, and now it is our turn to keep our word to each other.
