PAINT LOVE ON YOUR HEART

Your salvation is not counted by years. Your salvation is about the heart, your heart and in that are years filled with the love for God the Father, his Son, Holy Spirit and people.

Paint love on your heart of patient, kindness and hope; things that don't fail and others will profit each day, week and year from your salvation journey.

I don't care if you've been saved for 100 years, if you have not loved ~ it profits nothing
(see:1 Cor 13).

It will not fail you to walk in love, give your heart to God he is painting something wonderful on it...Selah!

SHOW ME MY REFLECTION

To understand the sweetness of the air,
To ride on the winds of a song,
Look at the sea, can you see me?

I looked out at the ones, who are different,
They just do not fit in, maybe they think a little higher,
Maybe they stand a little taller,
Maybe they love a little deeper.

Speak to me ocean deep,
Show me my reflection.

See I told you that we’re all different, yet the same.

CRAVING HIS PRESENCE

God the Father has transformed my heart by his precious Holy Spirit, as his mercy and grace encompass my heart.

My heart’s desire is to never intentionally harm, hurt, judge or condemn his children, that I may comprehend God’s love for all humanity, because my transformation was totally designed by the Father’s heart.

No hate has roomed, and to my discovery the Father’s love and peace has taken residence in this transformation.

I am seeking daily his wisdom and understanding as I humbly submit day by day my will to follow His love. I rejoice knowing that this is possible for whoever craves his presence daily.

I thank God the Father in the name of Jesus the Christ for He is omnipresent. This is love and if you don’t believe you are important to God the Father --- think again!

We cannot hide from the presence of God he watches over all of us the good and the bad. He is a true Father (a real Father), as we earthly father's watch over our children.

God's loving eyes look over us all. He is an omnipresent God; His word the Bible states:“Where shall I go from your Spirit? Or where shall I flee from your presence? If I ascend to heaven, you are there! If I make my bed in Sheol, you are there! If I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there your hand shall lead me, and your right hand shall hold me.” (Psalm 139:7-10)

Can't you just feel his love after reading that? God is just with us all the time. In your joy and in your pain, he is an omnipresent God.

Let's read more "The eyes of the Lord are in every place, keeping watch on the evil and the good." Prov 15:3

God is with us, just say Hello daddy I love you too!

Be blessed my friends.

MY GOD MY GOD

God is doing a work in us all by his Spirit. For you that are hurting here is a little wisdom.

Do not seek 1st why the pain came or who caused the pain that is not important at this moment. 1st things 1st ~ seek your healing 1st.

Let's look at this in the natural 1st:
You have broken your leg while riding on a motorcycle; you are on the ground in a lot of pain.

Good people take you to the hospital and you receive the care you need because of science.
You get some relief from your pain. Now you ask that question, what happened?

Let's look at this in the Spirit:
You have been broken because of sin and you are in a lot of pain and you feel as if you are on the ground.

God's people minister to you and takes you to their healer and you receive care because of Jesus's death on the cross. You get some relief from your pain. Now you ask the question, what happened?

MY BIBLE TEACHES ME

To my beloved Selah,
I ordered a large unsweetened tea lemonade thinking about God's love for us all at that moment. I’m not moved by my situations, circumstances or conditions. My feelings will not move me. Love, faith and obedience to the will of God is my mission.

My Bible teaches me in Colossians 3:14 that I can put on love. When love starts working in the heart of a man, hold on for the ride.

Our faith can’t work without love it's what my Bible teaches in Galatians 5:6, and if we love God we will obey him my Bible also teaches in John 14:15

1) Colossians 3:14: "And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity"
2) Galatians 5:6: "For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love"
3) John 14:15: "If you love me, you will obey what I command."

WE NEED HEALERS OF THE FAITH:

Selah, we must love people past their hurt/pain. Our love for the capture soul aids in their deliverance. Allow the love of God to use you today.

The Word Of God States: "No one can come to me (Jesus is talking) unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him up at the last day.”John 6:44

My Tea is ice-cold on this lovely day (smile); to be bound into that hurt/pain not one more day. We have a great and powerful God & King. We can help with people healing/deliverance or we can hinder it if we walk away.

According to His Word: “And God has placed in the church first of all apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healing, of helping, of guidance, and of different kinds of tongues. “ 1 Corinthians 12:28 The gifts he gave so that healing would come to a hurting people. God the Father always knows what we are need of in the body!
To be bound no more, let the gifts of healing come forth in the name of Jesus.

HONOR/RESPECT

In this analogy I will use the U.S. President as an example. The U.S. President holds the position of authority established by God the Father, who is source of all power in Heaven and Earth. The Bible say when we Honor him (U.S. President) we Honor God himself.

Respect comes out of Honor, when we respect the U.S. President, because he is God's governing authority here on earth, we show our respect to God the Father. Equally for our parents; when we Honor our parents, we Honor God the father, which shows respect for them all.

We may not agree with every decision they make (President and Parents), that does not grant us the right to dishonor them. We do not choose our parents, and some do not choose the U.S. President, but we all can Honor/Respect them all. See Romans 13:1+

HOW CAN I FORGIVE

Greetings,
The beautiful people of Selah & Co.: we are going to need some ice tea today it’s hot (love it)!

Beloved the role of a Judge is to condemn and judge sin.
A Judge must be faultless/perfect enabling him to judge fairly.
People cannot Judge people's sin because they are imperfect which disqualifies them from the office of a Judge.

To condemn people is to blame them for their sins and a sinner cannot blame another sinner for sins.
This is the job of the Judge; however people (sinners) play a major role.

One of the most important roles, and that is the role of the forgiver of sin, because who better understands sin, people!

Judge Jesus asked us to forgive/pardon or excuse sin, so we would be forgiven/pardon or excused of our sins from God the Father.

Please work on forgiving today.

Is Jesus asking us to work with him, and not against him? Selah!

"Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. See St Luke 6:37

Bless you all,

HAPPY 9th BIRTHDAY TO ME

Selah, prayer changes things, we at Selah & Co. are rejoicing with our dear friend and brother as he celebrates nine wonderful years on 16 May 2011 after undergoing kidney transplant surgery.

Mr. Darron Mayes (D) is a dear personal friend, coworker. We have seen some low days as well as some amazing days under the sun.

He is a husband, father and son who love his family and friends. D loves to travel, and is an astonishing bowler who holds the big 300 ring.

Selah do not get him talking about sports because if you do you will understand swiftly. It's all about those Skins! Darron loves his Washington Redskins, and the Lakers.

Selah help me and Darron to give God the Father, and his Son Jesus the Christ all the Glory and honor due their name.

Darron truly knows the power of prayer, and having people praying for you daily. As Mr. Mayes will point out to you, he is not perfect but he knows the perfect God.

You may be going through a health trial currently; Mr. Mayes and I would like to encourage you not to give up on prayer, and with following your doctor's advice, trust in God for your total healing.

I call him D! D, please understand how much you are loved, respected and appreciated. I rejoice with you and give God all the praises due his name for your healing, and recovery.

HAPPY 9th BIRTHDAY to you my brother and as you prayed; "Dear Heavenly Father, I come to you to thank you for your precious gift of a 2nd chance at life. It was nine years ago today that I successfully underwent kidney transplant surgery.

I know you had control over everything in the operating room, and ensured my safety, speedy recovery, and have guided my steps to keep me from harm's way and suffering any setbacks."

To my earthy dad thanks for being there, and being my donor, I love you Pop!

HAPPY 9th BIRTHDAY TO ME!

D, I say to that --- Amen, and "Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us" Ephesians 3:20 we thank Jesus.

God bless you always Darron from Selah & Me.

HELLO FEAR

Hello Selah,
It was the reason why we sang. It was timely, and a major bridge of hope for us who were being transformed from the world system of music into the Gospel system of music.

It was urban, and I (Terence) could understand all the words from the young choir.
Questions were answered the summer of 1993, and the world knew why we sang when the CD was finished.

Oh, yes. We were happy to sing because we adored, and loved the Lord Jesus Christ as we do to this very moment.

As a fan (Terence) of my Brother, Minister, and friend Kirk Franklin he's done it again. If for any reason you have not heard his latest CD, I (Terence) encourage you to invest into your salvation by purchasing “Hello Fear.”

It can’t be! This Gospel Spiritual Masterpiece has replaced his 1st CD, "Why I Sing" in my CD holder. That’s how good this new CD is (in my opinion).

I have not stopped playing it from the day of purchase, and because it is that good! Selah, did I say it’s good? Smile!

We (Selah & Co.) would like to give five (5) of them away (free) to the 1st five of you who, e-mail us their mailing addresses to efremtg@gmail.com

All we want you to do is enjoy the new CD, and we thank you each for being a part of Selah & Company.

Bless You All So,

ONE WORD REGINALD

SELAH be blessed; relax with your favorite beverage and enjoy.

Sunday October 10, 2010 founders of Ask Seek Knock (A.S.K) Outreach; Reginald and Debra Giles were led by the Holy Spirit of God to visit a hotel in South Charlotte.

While there they saw numerous families in great need of help. These families had taken up resident at the hotel, and were struggling to make ends meet.

Reginald and Debra have seven children of their own, so they knew exactly what these families were facing.

The Giles’s struggled to raise their children, while also helping many other people as they could (their giving did not stop there).

In that moment on October 10th, they knew they had to be the change --- the change they want to see in the world.

Right away the Giles’s began to make plans to help these families, anyway they could, but having no idea how (the Giles’s knew it had to happen).

Pondering what road to take to get these families what they need or even how to get started were the two questions?

That same night God began to work. Reginald preparing for bed; God spoke the word “KNOCK” to him. That one word opened up a whole wealth of thoughts in Reginald.

From that seed-word (KNOCK), birth the name of the organization Ask Seek Knock (A.S.K.) Outreach INC.

The following day, God also began to place people into the Giles’s lives who are able to help them put things in place for the families.

Right away Reginald and Debra were able to provide food and clothing for the urgent needs of these families.
• Clothing would enable these families to seek employment.
• Employment was the key to helping the families get back on their feet.

As time goes on, more opportunities are coming up that would help families in need.

God has allowed Reginald and Debra to partner with R.A.W. Ministries Int. Pastor Thomas Ford. This ministry is also burdened with seeing Gods people delivered and set free from bondage.

Pastor Ford vision is to see:
• Families, who don’t have enough, have more than enough
• Lives change one person at a time by seeing them changed from the inside out.

RAW’S Pastor Ford believes in reaching out and serving the needs of Gods people.

Reginald and Debra are very proud to call this Ministry “Partner”!
They look forward to help and open as many doors for families in need.

"Look out, because God is on the move --- when God moves there is no stopping him." Selah!

STAND POINTING THE WAY

Sin cannot judge sin and we don’t possess the ability to remove any man’s sin(s).

Who are the greedy that talks about the lustful? Point the way!
Who are the slothful that talks about the gluttonies? Point the way!
Who are the envy that talks about the prideful? Point the way!

Was it you who came down?
Was it you who created the plan?
Or - like me; did you look like filthy rags?

We can hurt people still or point the way,
or be angry and play silly unfruitful games.

Those who are hurting, depressed, unhappy or unloved, we judge you not!
We are not crazy, just filled with God’s love. It was dark, miserable at times too low. We do understand and feel your pain, we know, because we gave ours away.

We stand before you pointing the way.

Your Minister Needs You

Selah, please support your Minister when he or she is teaching the truth from the Word of God. You may never understand the pressure, they are under, and they are called to transfer the knowledge, wisdom and revelation from God's Word.

Start by praying for them daily. Remember God watches over his Word. God wants you, his children, to be fed correctly.

If you have children, I want you to think on that. You are concerned about your children's diet.

There are many motives for teaching the Word of God, however God is clear on its purpose. The truth of God's Word is not to be suppressed, but delivered in truth, to you his children.

So remember your Minister, encourage them to teach the truths of God's Word always.

Let them know that you are standing with them, praying for them and willing to grow each day in the Word of God. If you do, you will grow, they will grow and our Father will be pleased.

SELAH IS CELEBRATING 100 BLOG POSTS

SELAH,
It’s summertime, and the living is easy. Is it really? These words from a popular song often lull us into the anticipation of lazy days, vacations, and roller coasters. Visions of the beach sipping iced tea beckon -- all under a blazing, hot sun. The reality is that trials and tribulations know no season.

Thinking about getting away from it all? Maybe you have made vacations plans for a dreamy destination or have you already returned? Whatever the case, sometimes we can find ourselves yearning to escape the daily routine of our lives if only for a few minutes. It’s taken me a few years to realize that those who plan frequent, regular escapes are among the healthiest. You say you have no time for escape? Read on…

Did you know that this blog’s title, Selah, actually means an interlude (pause) in vocal music, or a pianissimo of all parts? Selah can also be compared to “resting places”. Selah is also a derivative of Selaham, which was a place the Bible defines as a “rock of escape.”

When we take time to meditate on God’s word, it gives us a refreshing pause that renews our spirit. Selah is found many times throughout the Book of Psalms.

When David was fleeing from King Saul who wanted to kill him, he ended up in the wilderness of Maon, a rocky stronghold.

Have you ever been in the wilderness? Was it a problem that continued to overwhelm you in spite of your best efforts? Or is it a financial burden that keeps you up at night? When circumstances of our lives crowd in like weeds, we can begin to feel as if we are walking in a desert with no water in sight.

It is my hope that you will find a refreshing pause from your daily routine and the problems that vex you in reading scripture. May it spur you on to explore and meditate on some of the wonderful passages found in the Book of Psalms. May you find a restful “escape” today. Some of my favorite “resting places” can be found in Psalms, 21, 26, 37, 91, 92, 103 and 139.

“But they that wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they
shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be
weary, and they shall walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31

DON'T MISS THE MARK

Selah, don't miss the Mark! This is a spiritual battle we all are in. It is futile to use fleshly insight to do spiritual warfare. Fear is not one of your weapons. Fear only punishes, it does not deliver. Fear will not make you free from your sins because it is not God's Spirit. Oh but Christ (the anointed one) only can make you free. God sent you Jesus who gave you the Word of God. If you want to be free from your sins, stay in your Bible and watch your shackles/yoke vanish. Ask God to fill you with his love each day, and thank him for your new gift.

"There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love."

God gave us his Words to teach us how to live. Jesus came to show and teach us how to live by it. I like to say God gave us a new backbone. Selah

WHY NOT PLANT SOME NEW SEEDS TODAY

Help me Selah, come on let's do this beloved

New seeds new dreams,
Good seeds good dreams,
Bad seeds bad dreams.

So plant some new seeds into that new dream.
Yesterday is gone, no more living in reverse;
Get out of the rearview mirror of your dreams.

1st you’ve got to let go.
What you do new today, God will make grow.
You get to make the decision.

O.K. I know what you thinking!
Who is going to make the provision?
Love, Jesus made that final decision.

God is watching over his Words, let’s move to the promise Galatians 6:7.
So if you are calculating all the wrong you have done ~ rain check!
It’s time for you to start singing a new song. Me,me,me,me,me....!

WHY NOT PLANT SOME NEW SEEDS TODAY
New seeds new dreams,
Good seeds good dreams,
Bad seed bad dreams.

OUR MOMENT

Selah greetings, Our Moment is my latest poem dedicated to You!

With my eyes filled with tears, I’m sitting in my pillow covered chair.
Looking off into the distance, stillness has claimed my soul.
A moment of tranquility reminding me of your plan.
Thinking how compelling it is to witness each tree stand.
I was planning on reading this book while having this glass of low calorie ice cold tea.

Wondering in the back of my brain ‘what’s for dinner’. If I move before the sun goes down like the ice in my tea --- I can’t blink my eyes of this gaze --- I won’t move, just one more moment to feel your grip, not a word, not a sound, just this tear slowly, calmly hanging around.

Pulling the blanket up as the sun diminishes and I say – Thank You!

JUST THINK TO GREATNESS

Selah, In 1984 I was a young manager and gained a life lesson that would change how I viewed my critics forever. They became a source tool of information for me and I invite their information with enthusiasm. Your critics may be one of your best resources. Please don't be so inflexible that you miss your blessings. Things don't always seem as they appear, and trusting in your thinking only, can lead down a deadly and unfruitful road. Even your critics have taken the time to observe you to some degree.

God has a way of using this information to bless you (provided
by your critics). However, you could miss a blessing or a Word of insight being too --- as the elders said --- set in your ways.

So be wise, by allowing God to use all to work on your blessings and miracles, even things you may not understand. “Whoever stubbornly refuses to accept criticism will suddenly be destroyed beyond recovery.” Proverbs 29:1

PRINCESS OF THY KING (JUST A REMINDER)

Do you realize you are a Princess of Thy King

See there is Protocol:
You must keep your head up, and your heart humble.
The law of kindness is in your tongue.
You speak love to all, and care about the poor.
You are a healer to the broken hearted.
Your discipline and lifestyle is with a made up mind.
You ask yourself; would thy King (your Daddy) approve of my clothing.
You are not call before the King; you walk right into your Daddy's chambers and say; Daddy can we talk?

There is a protocol being the daughter of Thy King.

You are a Princess of thy King – Selah!

THE DANCE OF JOY

God is in the turnaround business; that thing came to (what) pass by, get ready to dance, and make room for more joy. You all have angels orbiting around you at this very moment. So; “Lift up your heads, O you gates; lift them up, you ancient doors that the King (Ps 24:9) of glory may come in.” Let his Glory into your situation, because, king David said “You turned my wailing into dancing; (Ps 30:11) you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy,”

Hey when you just don’t get it, God do! "You will show me the path of life. In Your presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore." (Psalm 16:11)

Evil maybe on the rise, but God's grace abounds that much more, it all about Souls anyway. Y'all let’s do this; you got the green light! But officer I was just trying to tell them about Jesus; by the way do you know the Lord Sir (Smile)?

What! You said in the Latter Days All Flesh! Remembering what God said (not men only), ALL FLESH! He is pouring his Spirit on. That means – You (Green light Selah)!

I HAVE NOT ONE STONES

God is the God of us all (the Just and the unjust). We all are his creations, and we know: “that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.”

As the Word of God affirms; God said in Jeremiah 32:27
"I am the LORD, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?”

Before we judge one soul remember, you are judging what God has done.

God’s Ambassador asked that we do not, because, I AM knows all, yes our hidden sins.

Help me Jesus; the Ambassador of peace, love and forgiveness.
You are the Word of God, and my stones are placed at your feet.

Daily ask yourself this question: Today who will I stone with my mouth and pen?

Lord I (Terence) has not one stone to throw at your workmanship. Not one!
Only my love I give to you all on this new day.

STAND TALL

God is bigger than our complaining, our excuses, our blaming and our procrastination.

He’s bigger than our judgmental attitudes, our lack of compassion, our immature and unforgiving way.

He’s bigger than our unfruitful growth, our inflexibilities, our laziness and prideful ways. He’s bigger than our disobedience, our lack of wisdom and understanding of his ways, our greed and lack of faith in his abilities to father us.

God is bigger than our disappointments, our pain, our relationships and sins.

David, Goliath, Saul and Kings.

He’s bigger than presidents, priests, queens and lords. God is bigger than you and me. Totally one at the same time three.

God is bigger than everything.

Wanting nothing and having everything. Your Heart rests in the hands of the King.

Stand tall, God our father is bigger than everything!

GRACE IT IS AMAZING!

Selah, God accepts you as you are, with no conditions. Why do you place conditions on loving him?
What if things were fair? God’s love for you is unconditional, and your love for him is without conditions. I speculate all excuses would vanish, and the buts would be eliminated. Blaming people would be replaced with grace, because it’s that amazing!

THEY LOVE RAISIN CAKES

No more pain, no more hurt and no more unforgiving.

That one thing that won't let you go; it pops in and out of your soul.

You say am I right or wrong?

A major part of our love walks with God ~> is letting go of: pains, hurts and mistreatment.
What is God doing? Are you feeling low?

Remember:
"There was an old woman who lived in a shoe
She had so many children she didn't know what to do."

Back it-up!
Let's flip this; we have some things to do before this year is finished.
What to do? What to do?

That was for you, are you smiling?

Settle that thing, and face it with your faith; sometimes you must return to that thing to prove to you that you are truly walking in God's love.

Visualize you and God chatting over this matter and you start seeing Jesus blood.
That's right, God returned for you and me.

Can you see the wisdom, and can you feel his love?

Need more? See ~ Hosea 3:1
Then the LORD said to me, "Go again, love a woman who is loved by a lover and is committing adultery, just like the love of the LORD for the children of Israel, who look to other gods and love the raisin cakes of the pagans."

PLANT ME MY LORD ~ PLANT ME!

Today is my day to plant more, not for any selfish reasons,
but to grow in the faith that was purchased for my soul.

Stay by my side Lord, my eyes are fixed.

Can I plant for the Widows and the Fatherless Lord?
Can I plant for the strangers who you guide and love by your hands?

You gave me this day, no cares to bear.
Do I not love the Strangers?
Do I not love the Fatherless?
Do I not love the Widows?

Lord how do I spend this day with the air that you gave?
For your widows?
For your fatherless?
For your strangers?
Lord I think I'll give my time back to you ~

Father sow me as you please, as long as I return back to thy!

The richest seed is you ~ plant yourself

-by Terence Efrem Gray Sr.

Here is something to remember.
`The man who plants a little bit will get only a little from it.
The man who plants much will get much from it.' 2 Cor 9:6

I love you all so...

WHISPER: Happy Birthday Lord Jesus! You are the King of Kings, and the Lord of Lords ~ Selah & Co.

Selah,

I speak blessings; I speak blessings on your lives.

Beloved, allow the Word of God in to change your mind set.
Be rooted in the love of God, without it you can do nothing.
Beloved, God's leaders don't come into your lives to steal/take, but to
deposit, and bring edification of his word. Don't be a fool; God takes
no pleasure in fools. "When you make a vow to God, do not delay in
fulfilling it. He has no pleasure in fools; fulfill your vow." Eccles
5:4

Beloved, if someone has hurt you in the Body of Christ or out; shake
yourself, and get moving again now. Ask God for the mind-set of new;
forget those old things, beloved let them go now.

Let no man chain you with their folly again. Make God's love your
liberation. Your mind was given to you for God's purpose, to connect
your hopes, dreams and visions to the guidance of his wisdom and
understanding for your lives. His Holy Spirit is our gift, showing us
all the will of God for each individual life.

Let the pain go in the name of Jesus; I speak multiplied blessings on your lives.
Hey come close a little closer, I got to whisper this... from my lips to your ear,
Come in a little, just a little more; let it go for Love; OK?

DON’T LEAVE US OUT!!

Some will leave us out. My Lord do not leave us out.
You know our hearts; Lord we are after yours.

What do we offer a King?

We say a lot, but there is no sound, we are nothing without love.

What do we offer a King?

We think too low, you ask us not. We want what you don’t,
but you give us what we need. We lay helpless in our minds, and
comprehend it not.

What do we offer a King?

We pass by you daily without notice, because we want what we want,
and then ask you why? Funny we oppress ourselves. Selah!

What do you offer a King?

All beauty is given to us daily, selfishness steals it away.

Silence!

What do we offer a King?

Silence!!

Some will leave us out.

Silence!!!

My Lord do not leave us out.

Silence!!!!

Take us Lord our KING!

OK?

FILL US!!!

This is not the time people!
This is not the moment people!
This is not the hour people!

God will do it for you & you!
God will help you (Oh yes he will)!

What will he do?
What will he do for you?

People this is not about a feeling.
It's not FAKE!
The old did it, before it was too late.
Wait!
- who ate the pie?
- who ate the cake?

There is God's joy all over this place.
It is in your home
On your Job, also
Sitting at the city gates!

We can protect you from many things,
but can't protect you from you.

Selah, say this with me, come on you can do it!
"He will yet fill your mouth with laughter and your lips with shouts of joy." (Job 8:21)
My God our Savior is born!
My God our Davior is born!

Fill us Lord!!!

It's easy loving you all...

JOSEPH YOU DID GOOD

Selah come with me and don't forget your tea!

On that night Joseph may have had trouble sleeping. I imagine he had a lot on his mind. Have you ever had a lot on your mind, yet deeply wanting to go to sleep?

If I could just allow my mind to wander off. Joseph most likely drifted off into a deep sleep, and then it happened --- the most wonderful conversation in his dream state. The Lord’s Angel appeared to him (think about that the next time you are in Lala-land).

Jesus was on his way, to save us from us. This Christmas reflect on its meaning (we all were on the mind of God).
Joseph was enjoying a conversation from the unseen, getting his orders, while understanding his purpose that calmed his fears.

God’s Angel told Joseph of his gender and name, because that name would change our relationship with darkness forever.
It was conceived of the Holy Spirit and there was never a moment when God did not love us all.

At that name; would bring understanding of good and evil.
At that name; would be a mirror of freedom to all who call upon it.
At that name; we would reconnect to his Father once again.
At that name; sin would be immobilized over his children.

This year show that type of love to all, and maybe just maybe, we will get a message from the messenger in our dreams. SELAH!

Joseph you did good --- Thanks!

THE BABY IS CRYING!

Selah, have you ever taken a beautiful new born baby in your arms and laid the baby in its crib? Today in the name of Jesus. LAY YOUR PROBLEMS DOWN! That’s all, lay them down.

The Baby is Crying!
What? Heartache, unforgiving, dishonor, misunderstood ~ lay them down.
The Baby is Crying!
What? Issues: Lost of income, marital, missing love ones ~ lay them down.
The Baby is Crying!
What? Sickness, unsaved children, wanting a spouse, loneliness ~ lay them down.
The Baby is Crying!
What? Ministry, unfaithfulness, greed, pride, lust ~ lay them down.
The Baby is Crying!
What? Gluttony, laziness, envy, anger, lying ~ lay them down.
The Baby is Crying!
What? ~ What? ~ What? ~ What is it?
Lay it down. That's All!

Peace Y'all,the baby stopped...

LET THEM GO

God sent Jesus to the place of no compromising. As Jesus entered; Peter wanting to go could not.

Selah, people will drop off as you enter into your place of no compromising.

I (Terence SR.) will like to encourage you all today to move forward as Jesus did.
It’s not about losing friends; it’s about obeying the Father’s plan for your life.

Compromising may take you to the location, but it will not get you through the door.
It is reserved for the obedient.

Jesus warned Peter that he could not go, because it was in God’s plan.
Who are you holding hostage, because they turned back on you (That’s not in God’s plan)? Until death the Master was obedient to the plan of God the Father. SELAH!

HE CALLED HER COOKIE

My Dear Selah Friends, God has done it again. I reviewed a powerful testimony and would love to share it with you all. I was so moved; I wrote a poem and got the approval to share it with Selah & Co. Selah take some time out today, and grab a cup of hot tea and a few Covenant Cookies.

This Poem is dedicated to my friend:
Ms. Lauretta Pierce:

HE CALLED HER COOKIE

It was pain that came,
until that song, the
right moment, the right time.

What did they say?
Happy they are free?
Now that's for me!

Stop!

I want to get off.
I want to be free!
It's now you and me.

I've asked and you gave.
His Son is now a part of me!
I've tasted & I now see;
He’s sweet!

My cookie!
What?
My cookie!
What!
Yes!
You are my cookie.
You have my Son.
Combine the two and walk- in my love.

I will my Father until I see you.
I'm your cookie and Your Son is your Word.
I will make a covenant, filled with your love.

He called me his Cookie!

WARNING WOMEN

Women Need To Be Aware Of Their Surroundings.
The enemy is lurking in the shadows. Stay close to your protector. The enemy wants to tickle women's ears with a message that they want to hear. He knows if women hear their message (repeated) enough they will believe it as truth.

The greatest lie he'll tell them has no truth, now they are in agreement. So she will carry it out until disaster strikes unknowingly calling it love.

DON'T TELL THEM: A Player Plays What You Allow My Sisters
Why play the clown?
Why help him put your emotions in the ground?
One lonely minute, one lonely hour.

STOP IT: Jesus will turn it around.

THE MOST EXCELLENT WAY

If sadness has over taken you, and the cares of this world are many.
You must remember there is a 'most excellent way'.

Have you ever considered that you may be tired of living as a low Christian?

Maybe you forgot that you are called out and still, in some ways, you must leave behind for a 'More excellent way'.

Are you tired of the lying?
Are you tired of the deception?
You’ve backed yourself into a corner by using excuses and blaming because you can’t be wrong!

He’s wrong.
She’s wrong.
They are wrong.
The whole world is wrong!!!
But not you!

Needing a more excellent way.

Sleep early, and raise early, starting with prayer, and a song to God, just spending time with the father.

A more excellent way.

Consider you are called to love all men; however you can't dwell in the present of sin consistently.

Maybe, just maybe you are working when you should be resting or seated at the feet of Jesus in prayer, THE MOST EXCELLENT WAY!

GET OUT OF YOUR OWN HEAD!

Stop fighting yourself the ugliness of those reflections.
What are you doing that is so bad?
Are you not perfect enough (are there so many imperfections within yourself that you feel like you could never be loved)?
Is it worth it (are there so many hurts and scars that you feel you have nothing to offer any longer.) life?

Get out of your own head!

I'm drop~in, the big eraser on you today.
Put these in:
"So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them." (Genesis 1:27)

"The Lord has made everything for its purpose, even the wicked for the day of trouble." (Prov 16:4)

"You made him for a little while lower than the angels, you have crowned him with glory and honor, (Heb 2:7)

You All Work For Me!

Got up early in the A.M, and this was deep down in my brain stem.

I asked; why are men still trying to condemn?

Take this world they eat them like a vitamin c, sea, the water is blue, have you checked out my sky? See, I need you to tell them, they are free!

Yes Lord, free in me, and to the ones walking in condemnation, also tell them they have been freed in me, remind them of my Words, remind them of their liberty, My son tell them to walk in Victory!

With many words there is sin, so I need someone to show them.
It's your time, it's their time, and you all work for me.

I'm the boss! It was Jesus who paid sin's penalty, he is the remedy.

Now I'm pleased to say, no man or law ~ people! We are free, and here is the good news: "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit."

Lord wait one minute, I love you so.

MASTER

Selah, I need a Cup of Tea;
will you pull up a chair with me?
I love it when you stop bye,
I hope you enjoy this; something I call

MASTER

Cain didn't take God's advice.
God wanted him to do what was right.
He told Cain what his problem was,
and then God gave Cain the solution.

Cain wanted retribution for Abel's proper solution
Today he would be admitted to a medical institution

Was it the lies, selfishness and envy, knocking?
The good news is that Cain was the second hater,

Now I will swap and be the translator; The Lord said
"Sin is crouching at your door."

Do you need a little more?
Think of a lion stalking its prey.
We know Cain didn't pray.

The Lord said; "It desires to have you."

Are you being used as prey today?
Or are you preying after something or some-one today?
I know --- I know, not you because all my friends pray.

So here is your solution: Own your sin and make it your slave,
You know like when you buy a pet, you are its owner?

Don't let that sin tell you what to do, tell it who's boss
Open your mouth, use your lips and make those jaw bones work

God said to Cain "But you must Master it."

God was just being Cain's Pastor not his drill master.
We all know who Cain went after, today will you let
God be your Pastor and Master that Sin that's preying on you? Selah!

Love You All

MY GEMS ARE WITH ME

Sometimes things seem off balance. To the Mothers & Fathers out there who laid their babies to rest. Never believing you would see that type of pain in your life time.

Time has passed and now folks come to you with their problems and they call it pain (Just ask someone living with chronic pain).

• They say: I am upset because I've picked up five pounds and I think someone is messing around.

• They say: Why were they promoted and not me and why is she leading the song?
By-the- way my car just broke down.

• They say: Mother my husband is late and its half past 8; do you think he is messing around?

• They say: You know the plane is late, they had me standing at the gate.
What is mom doing when she is late?

• They say: You know she bumped me in line, why are my bills always late?

• They say: I hate my job and JC got a bad report card (Why will they not listen?).

• They say: Why won’t everybody just do what I ask them to do?
No one liked the dinner I made.

Then it happens. The table turned --- someone said "it's been over a year are you guys ok?"

Who is this and why did they ask?

I feel like I want to get in the kitchen and go on a long walk or take an airplane ride, for no reason at all.

I ask each day. How can I add some happiness to this day?

You know its half past 8 --- baby are you OK?

When love made me (like Mattel makes baby dolls).

Children it's not complicated, you are a walking manifestation of my love.

Your framework is love.
Your inner and outer shell is love.

So when the day brings you pain and your tears bring you rain, my love will be your sunshade and our love will push through the pain and you and I will dance.

Go deeper, a little deeper can you now see that Mother and Father pain?

Tell them my Gems are with me...Selah!

I love you all

LOVING THE “UNLOVABLE”

Hold the presses (I always wanted to say that)! I am eager and thrilled to introduce to the readers of Selah. She's a young wife, mother and friend. The favor of God rests on her shoulders. When I first asked her to write a post (while explaining that her being houses a powerful message) that this world needs to hear but with her busy life, where would she find the time to add one more thing to her jam-packed plate. I asked her to take her time and pray (which she did) about this. Selah, relax! Put your feet up and enjoy this powerful display of obedience, omission of error and a powerful act of agape love revealed through, this charming woman of God, Mrs. Kaycee Jones!

Welcome Selah bloggers! What a joy to be able to be wrapped up in the comforting presence of the Holy Spirit! Did you ever know someone that was "unlovable?" Perhaps you live or work with someone who falls into this category. Chances are each of us knows someone who fits this category! Or perhaps someone else may feel this way about you. Now that's a thought!

As Christians, we are called to love others (AS WE LOVE OURSELVES.) Matt. 22:39
It is not always an easy thing to do. I once worked with a young woman whom I will call Karen. She was attractive, but in MY eyes she was the epitome of sin. She was frequently rude to me and it was common knowledge that she often had relationships with many men. She also dressed in an unprofessional manner in MY eyes. Can you see a pattern here? It was all about ME.

One day, the Lord spoke to me and said, "I have something for you to do." Eager to obey, I quickly responded, here I am Lord, send me." The Holy Spirit brought conviction to my heart about my attitude toward Karen and told me to ask her opinion on some casework that I was doing. I worked at a mental health agency and my caseload was very heavy. I truly needed help, but I would have rather eaten dirt than asked for her help.

I put it off for a few days and finally the day came when I knew I couldn't delay speaking with Karen any longer. As I walked down the long corridor, my legs seemed to turn to lead as I neared her office door. I gathered all my courage up and began to speak. I didn't like putting myself in this vulnerable position. I felt like an antelope running thru a pride of lions.

Every negative emotion that I ever experienced in her presence came flooding back to me. We did not sit next to one another during our morning conferences. In fact, we wouldn't even ride on the elevator at the same time. I did not like her. There is no way around it. Everyone knew it!

As I spoke, she continued to "act" busy. As soon as she understood my request, she looked up at me. I will never forget the look of bewilderment that she had on her face. She looked me straight in the eyes and said, "You want ME to help YOU?" A flush of embarrassment fell upon me and I said, "Yes, I do." I was thinking, "No, the Holy Spirit does."

To my surprise, she said, "Yes." The next few days we were literally together all day going over my case files and she even helped me rewrite some case plans. As we worked together, she didn't seem to be so bad. In fact, although we had the same position, she was insightful and I learned a great deal from her.

One day as we were nearing the end of the workday, I related to her how God had dealt with me about my attitude. I made it clear to her that if I failed to ask her forgiveness and didn't witness to her, I would be responsible for keeping her out of the Kingdom of God. I told her that I could not bear this as it was my personal heart's desire for her to come to know Jesus as her Lord and Savior.

It seemed like hours before she replied, but finally she slowly raised her head, looked into my eyes and said, "You want me to have eternal life?" Truthfully, if she would have asked me that question the week before, I don't think I could have answered yes.

The truth behind my admission, should speak to you and I because we are Christians. We should desire to see everyone come to Christ; even people that we think are unlovable. Sometimes loneliness manifests itself as coldness, heartache as bitterness and frustration as meanness. We are to be merciful to others just as God shows mercy to us. We are to be the demonstration of the life and love of the Lord Jesus Christ to all we come into contact with, that fragrance of Christ. (2 Cor. 2:15)

No Karen did not drop to her knees immediately and accept Jesus into her heart, but there was an immediate change in her attitude on the job. Her attitude changed and so did mine. She became friendly and helpful to me. Instead of being anxious and angry, I was content and happy. The burden of my attitude was gone and she and I were both set free from that negativity. On several occasions afterwards, I told her about the difference that Jesus had made in my life. Day by day I could see changes in her and I now know that my attitude change had a lot to do with it. I have not seen her in almost 9 years, but I am almost certain that we will meet again . . . hopefully in Heaven! As we consider the "unlovable" in our lives, let's be mindful that those individuals are the ones who desire love the most. Help us all Lord to see past coldness, past bitterness, past meanness and into the hearts of those who need to be loved the most. In the precious name of Jesus, Amen!

Mr. Tiger Woods & Family (To judge you is to judge ourselves)

Dear Mr. Tiger Woods

Sometimes we experience life-changing obstacles as we walk through life's various roads. In those crossroads or moments of awkwardness we can chose to take a detour on to the road of awareness -- that one human being; judging another human being is outlandish.

It makes for attention-grabbing news reports, magazine sales and blog topics. Hopefully making this world to feel better about them!

To judge you is to judge ourselves.

This letter is to give you a clear understanding of what is most significant, and that is the family -- your family, keeping the family together. To place a circle of love and protection around your family, with
prayer, love and respect for each member.

We judge you not. There is healing, love and forgiveness on the road to awareness -- on the detour to awareness.

Sir, you have given what you can to the game of golf and also to many families that you've supported through education and sportsmanship. We, our fans and admirers are ever aware. Who better has this knowledge than you? If a part of the game is weak, do we not work to make it stronger? On this road to awareness, the same applies. We can become stronger with the blinders off, only to watch your problems fall by the wayside.

A mother, father, and children protected -- who would have imagined? How far has society fallen when family crises are cheered? Money, papers and blogs aside, what have we become? Have you gossiped, given your opinion, joked and read the stories, knowing our values are ever before us?

What must the children think, do they hurt --- are you they sad? Does mom cry, what do you think? Communities are we giving dad time to rethink? It's about family, it's about our families, it about our nation.

Some things may be fodder for the comedy mills, but this topic is not. The sacred institution of the family is at risk. Let us not forget to stay on the path of awareness.

To the Woods family, we love you all.

GOD LOVES YOU (This One For the Kids)

God loves you as you are
He made the trees
He made the stars
He made the Birds
He made you and he made me

He said come my little ones
Wait, it goes like this: "Let the little children come to me”
“and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven
belongs to such as these."

See you are higher then, the birds, stars & trees
He need you to come, he want you to come to be free

Children spend time on your knees, children, my children
When you pray, close the door each day

I like when you help your mother, your dad and your teacher
I like it more when you help and love one another and the preacher

Children I got a little secret
Come close; little closer

I got a rule and it’s Golden, just call me the composer
So if you cry, feeling low, look up and say it Golden

Do you know it?
Did you guess? One more hint, it’s in your Bible: Matthew 19:14 – did you find it?

By-the-way, one more thing --- I love you!

Now, Ms Teacher --- read it like a movie feature:
“So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you,
for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.”

Now children, you make a deposit, and tell this story of my
Glory! Because, God loves you more!

I DON'T CARE ABOUT THAT STUFF

I not concerned about your gold teeth
Your underwear on the street, or if you’ve cheated!
The child support you didn’t meet

Baby momma, baby, is more ganksta
Than baby daddy male extensions, this is not the issue

24’s, tinted windows, blunts blazing and with that
God still waiting

You are sex texting to the believer whose’ relapsing,
thinking of its nature

Do I care about your tats; not this guy!
I care about your soul
I care about the one who can make you whole
I care about; where you going and not where you’ve been

I can careless about, tanqueray and Gin
His love is so deep, and as you walked the streets
That cross was for you and it’s for me

Darkness had me griped, but he needs you now
Come as you are, His Word proclaims!

Homie, let them point and talk about you, just smile and say it’s ok because --- I hear him calling my name!

I’ll lead you to the Cross, the place when I was lost, He gave me my sight

Ganksta, pimps, baby-momma, I-Sexing one, back-sliders time to get to know
your provider

Baby-daddy, his wisdom awaits; he can’t love you more
and he won’t love you less; just place your sins at his door.

I came, you come! To the Father through his Son, now I care!

All my love...players: For the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost. (Luke 19:10)

AN I-GOD?

WHAT IF WE COULD HAVE AN I-GOD?
Please help me welcome a priceless young lady. She is a gift to Selah by collaborating with me on Selah's 1st post. I consider her a friend, a brilliant writer and editor. When called upon for her support, she has been totally unselfish with her talents.
She loves God, lives in Massachusetts, and helps grade school kids with reading and writing in her spare time. She also volunteers at her church, and is thinking about starting an affordable resume service.

With love & respect please enjoy the artistic message written by Ms.
Patricia Faye Gordon but I call her Pat...

Today, we are surrounded by technology, like the I-pod. It does amazing things like search for restaurants, find streets and addresses.

Wouldn’t it be nice to find God's plan for our lives like that? What if we could have an "i-God"? Just by touching the navigation screen, we could find God's plan for our lives...God's will. The Bible is like a compass too. We must search it to help us navigate the course of our lives. But God's plan is not something we actually search out--in fact, God's plan finds us.

Isn't that incredible?

The more we learn of His word and read the Bible, his divine plan, the Holy Spirit finds us. The Bible says, to seek first the kingdom of God, and all these things will be added unto you. For committed Christians, the Bible can be compared to the I-Pod gadget. Although the Bible requires careful study and meditating on His word-- there is nothing else that can be compared to it. It has the power to transform, imbue wisdom, and send forth miracles and healing for the soul and relationships. Hallelujah! Thank God for His undescribable gift.

YOU INVADED ME

Why does your heart hurt?
Why is the pain there?
Who gave it permission to be invaded?

It was I
It was I

Just let me move, I need to walk
Sitting silently in its dark
The sky’s the same?
Did my name change?

Playing a mystical game with my heart
Bright yellow/red/orange, darken moon dry tree
Abstract art of my invaded heart

Here alone in my thinking,
It was I?
It was I?

Lesson need not repeating, rethinking it all
That invaded place, seal with sign of your face
Yes I see!
Stay with me, until the Son break through your storm

What did you?
What did you say?
Until the Son break through my storm?
Well, well why is it warm?
There’s no trace of me.

Your invasion, you invaded me.

TO MY CHILDREN (My Father's Day Letter)

No one can remove you from my heart; no one but God see's the room you all hold. You all are gifts; having your own souls.

When I talk to God about each you, I can never finish (truly I can't start), seeing over the tears, my heart just races.

Father God said if you think it --- He'll know it, than I could feel him wipe my tears away.

I said; Father, is that how you feel about us? Looking closer, I saw a tear drop. No one will know or measure a soul. Son my love is too wide, it’s too-deep-to contain, so we both wept until I dropped, and how I understood, to this very day.

So when I look at you now and you see a tear in my eye, for no reason at all. Your dad’s love is too deep and too wide for you all; just wipe it away.

You all are loved. You're my gifts the giver gave! You to me and me to you; you all know of this love (from a child you were told).

You played Church and had fun. Called it Father Day love.

So, I am Dad possessed, with his love, but if I see a tear I won’t say a word. I'll know it was Dad; we all are surrounded in his love. It's the room you all hold because my children, no one can remove you from my soul.

Love Dad!
