THEY LOVE RAISIN CAKES


No more pain, no more hurt and no more unforgiving.

That one thing that won't let you go; it pops in and out of your soul.

You say am I right or wrong?

A major part of our love walks with God ~> is letting go of: pains, hurts and mistreatment.
What is God doing? Are you feeling low?

Remember:
"There was an old woman who lived in a shoe
She had so many children she didn't know what to do."

Back it-up!
Let's flip this; we have some things to do before this year is finished.
What to do? What to do?

That was for you, are you smiling?

Settle that thing, and face it with your faith; sometimes you must return to that thing to prove to you that you are truly walking in God's love.

Visualize you and God chatting over this matter and you start seeing Jesus blood.
That's right, God returned for you and me.

Can you see the wisdom, and can you feel his love?

PLANT ME MY LORD ~ PLANT ME!


Today is my day to plant more, not for any selfish reasons,
but to grow in the faith that was purchased for my soul.

Stay by my side Lord, my eyes are fixed.

Can I plant for the Widows and the Fatherless Lord?
Can I plant for the strangers who you guide and love by your hands?

You gave me this day, no cares to bear.
Do I not love the Strangers?
Do I not love the Fatherless?
Do I not love the Widows?

Lord how do I spend this day with the air that you gave?
For your widows?
For your fatherless?
For your strangers?
Lord I think I'll give my time back to you ~

Father sow me as you please, as long as I return back to thy!

Let no man chain you with their folly again. Make God's love your
liberation. Your mind was given to you for God's purpose, to connect
your hopes, dreams and visions to the guidance of his wisdom and
understanding for your lives. His Holy Spirit is our gift, showing us
all the will of God for each individual life.

Let the pain go in the name of Jesus; I speak multiplied blessings on your lives.

JOSEPH YOU DID GOOD


Selah come with me and don't forget your tea!

On that night Joseph may have had trouble sleeping. I imagine he had a lot on his mind. Have you ever had a lot on your mind, yet deeply wanting to go to sleep?


If I could just allow my mind to wander off. Joseph most likely drifted off into a deep sleep, and then it happened --- the most wonderful conversation in his dream state. The Lord’s Angel appeared to him (think about that the next time you are in Lala-land).


Jesus was on his way, to save us from us. This Christmas reflect on its meaning (we all were on the mind of God).
Joseph was enjoying a conversation from the unseen, getting his orders, while understanding his purpose that calmed his fears.

God’s Angel told Joseph of his gender and name, because that name would change our relationship with darkness forever.
It was conceived of the Holy Spirit and there was never a moment when God did not love us all.

At that name; would bring understanding of good and evil.
At that name; would be a mirror of freedom to all who call upon it.
At that name; we would reconnect to his Father once again.
At that name; sin would be immobilized over his children.

This year show that type of love to all, and maybe just maybe, we will get a message from the messenger in our dreams. SELAH!

LET THEM GO


God sent Jesus to the place of no compromising. As Jesus entered; Peter wanting to go could not.

Selah, people will drop off as you enter into your place of no compromising.

I (Terence SR.) will like to encourage you all today to move forward as Jesus did.
It’s not about losing friends; it’s about obeying the Father’s plan for your life.

Compromising may take you to the location, but it will not get you through the door.
It is reserved for the obedient.

Jesus warned Peter that he could not go, because it was in God’s plan.
Who are you holding hostage, because they turned back on you (That’s not in God’s plan)? Until death the Master was obedient to the plan of God the Father. SELAH!

WARNING WOMEN

Women Need To Be Aware Of Their Surroundings.
The enemy is lurking in the shadows. Stay close to your protector. The enemy wants to tickle women's ears with a message that they want to hear. He knows if women hear their message (repeated) enough they will believe it as truth.

The greatest lie he'll tell them has no truth, now they are in agreement. So she will carry it out until disaster strikes unknowingly calling it love.

Why help him put your emotions in the ground?

THE MOST EXCELLENT WAY

If sadness has over taken you, and the cares of this world are many.
You must remember there is a 'most excellent way'.

Have you ever considered that you may be tired of living as a low Christian?

Maybe you forgot that you are called out and still, in some ways, you must leave behind for a 'More excellent way'.

Are you tired of the lying?
Are you tired of the deception?
You’ve backed yourself into a corner by using excuses and blaming because you can’t be wrong!

He’s wrong.
She’s wrong.
They are wrong.
The whole world is wrong!!!
But not you!

Needing a more excellent way.

Sleep early, and raise early, starting with prayer, and a song to God, just spending time with the father.

A more excellent way.

Consider you are called to love all men; however you can't dwell in the present of sin consistently.

Maybe, just maybe you are working when you should be resting or seated at the feet of Jesus in prayer, THE MOST EXCELLENT WAY!

You All Work For Me!


Got up early in the A.M, and this was deep down in my brain stem.

I asked; why are men still trying to condemn?

Take this world they eat them like a vitamin c, sea, the water is blue, have you checked out my sky? See, I need you to tell them, they are free!

Yes Lord, free in me, and to the ones walking in condemnation, also tell them they have been freed in me, remind them of my Words, remind them of their liberty, My son tell them to walk in Victory!

With many words there is sin, so I need someone to show them.
It's your time, it's their time, and you all work for me.

I'm the boss! It was Jesus who paid sin's penalty, he is the remedy.

Now I'm pleased to say, no man or law ~ people! We are free, and here is the good news: "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit."

Selah, I need a Cup of Tea;

Cain didn't take God's advice.
God wanted him to do what was right.
He told Cain what his problem was,
and then God gave Cain the solution.

Cain wanted retribution for Abel's proper solution
Today he would be admitted to a medical institution

Was it the lies, selfishness and envy, knocking?
The good news is that Cain was the second hater,

Now I will swap and be the translator; The Lord said
"Sin is crouching at your door."

Do you need a little more?
Think of a lion stalking its prey.
We know Cain didn't pray.

The Lord said; "It desires to have you."

Are you being used as prey today?
Or are you preying after something or some-one today?
I know --- I know, not you because all my friends pray.

So here is your solution: Own your sin and make it your slave,
You know like when you buy a pet, you are its owner?

Don't let that sin tell you what to do, tell it who's boss
Open your mouth, use your lips and make those jaw bones work

God said to Cain "But you must Master it."

God was just being Cain's Pastor not his drill master.
We all know who Cain went after, today will you let
God be your Pastor and Master that Sin that's preying on you? Selah!

MY GEMS ARE WITH ME

Sometimes things seem off balance. To the Mothers & Fathers out there who laid their babies to rest. Never believing you would see that type of pain in your life time.

Time has passed and now folks come to you with their problems and they call it pain (Just ask someone living with chronic pain).

• They say: I am upset because I've picked up five pounds and I think someone is messing around.

• They say: Why were they promoted and not me and why is she leading the song?
By-the- way my car just broke down.

• They say: Mother my husband is late and its half past 8; do you think he is messing around?

• They say: You know the plane is late, they had me standing at the gate.
What is mom doing when she is late?

• They say: You know she bumped me in line, why are my bills always late?

• They say: I hate my job and JC got a bad report card (Why will they not listen?).

• They say: Why won’t everybody just do what I ask them to do?
No one liked the dinner I made.

Then it happens. The table turned --- someone said "it's been over a year are you guys ok?"

Who is this and why did they ask?

I feel like I want to get in the kitchen and go on a long walk or take an airplane ride, for no reason at all.

I ask each day. How can I add some happiness to this day?

You know its half past 8 --- baby are you OK?

When love made me (like Mattel makes baby dolls).

Children it's not complicated, you are a walking manifestation of my love.

Your framework is love.
Your inner and outer shell is love.

So when the day brings you pain and your tears bring you rain, my love will be your sunshade and our love will push through the pain and you and I will dance.

Go deeper, a little deeper can you now see that Mother and Father pain?

Tell them my Gems are with me...Selah!

LOVING THE “UNLOVABLE”

Hold the presses (I always wanted to say that)! I am eager and thrilled to introduce to the readers of Selah. She's a young wife, mother and friend. The favor of God rests on her shoulders. When I first asked her to write a post (while explaining that her being houses a powerful message) that this world needs to hear but with her busy life, where would she find the time to add one more thing to her jam-packed plate. I asked her to take her time and pray (which she did) about this. Selah, relax! Put your feet up and enjoy this powerful display of obedience, omission of error and a powerful act of agape love revealed through, this charming woman of God, Mrs. Kaycee Jones!

Welcome Selah bloggers! What a joy to be able to be wrapped up in the comforting presence of the Holy Spirit! Did you ever know someone that was "unlovable?" Perhaps you live or work with someone who falls into this category. Chances are each of us knows someone who fits this category! Or perhaps someone else may feel this way about you. Now that's a thought!

As Christians, we are called to love others (AS WE LOVE OURSELVES.) Matt. 22:39
It is not always an easy thing to do. I once worked with a young woman whom I will call Karen. She was attractive, but in MY eyes she was the epitome of sin. She was frequently rude to me and it was common knowledge that she often had relationships with many men. She also dressed in an unprofessional manner in MY eyes. Can you see a pattern here? It was all about ME.

One day, the Lord spoke to me and said, "I have something for you to do." Eager to obey, I quickly responded, here I am Lord, send me." The Holy Spirit brought conviction to my heart about my attitude toward Karen and told me to ask her opinion on some casework that I was doing. I worked at a mental health agency and my caseload was very heavy. I truly needed help, but I would have rather eaten dirt than asked for her help.

I put it off for a few days and finally the day came when I knew I couldn't delay speaking with Karen any longer. As I walked down the long corridor, my legs seemed to turn to lead as I neared her office door. I gathered all my courage up and began to speak. I didn't like putting myself in this vulnerable position. I felt like an antelope running thru a pride of lions.

Every negative emotion that I ever experienced in her presence came flooding back to me. We did not sit next to one another during our morning conferences. In fact, we wouldn't even ride on the elevator at the same time. I did not like her. There is no way around it. Everyone knew it!

As I spoke, she continued to "act" busy. As soon as she understood my request, she looked up at me. I will never forget the look of bewilderment that she had on her face. She looked me straight in the eyes and said, "You want ME to help YOU?" A flush of embarrassment fell upon me and I said, "Yes, I do." I was thinking, "No, the Holy Spirit does."

To my surprise, she said, "Yes." The next few days we were literally together all day going over my case files and she even helped me rewrite some case plans. As we worked together, she didn't seem to be so bad. In fact, although we had the same position, she was insightful and I learned a great deal from her.

One day as we were nearing the end of the workday, I related to her how God had dealt with me about my attitude. I made it clear to her that if I failed to ask her forgiveness and didn't witness to her, I would be responsible for keeping her out of the Kingdom of God. I told her that I could not bear this as it was my personal heart's desire for her to come to know Jesus as her Lord and Savior.

It seemed like hours before she replied, but finally she slowly raised her head, looked into my eyes and said, "You want me to have eternal life?" Truthfully, if she would have asked me that question the week before, I don't think I could have answered yes.

The truth behind my admission, should speak to you and I because we are Christians. We should desire to see everyone come to Christ; even people that we think are unlovable. Sometimes loneliness manifests itself as coldness, heartache as bitterness and frustration as meanness. We are to be merciful to others just as God shows mercy to us. We are to be the demonstration of the life and love of the Lord Jesus Christ to all we come into contact with, that fragrance of Christ. (2 Cor. 2:15)

No Karen did not drop to her knees immediately and accept Jesus into her heart, but there was an immediate change in her attitude on the job. Her attitude changed and so did mine. She became friendly and helpful to me. Instead of being anxious and angry, I was content and happy. The burden of my attitude was gone and she and I were both set free from that negativity. On several occasions afterwards, I told her about the difference that Jesus had made in my life. Day by day I could see changes in her and I now know that my attitude change had a lot to do with it. I have not seen her in almost 9 years, but I am almost certain that we will meet again . . . hopefully in Heaven! As we consider the "unlovable" in our lives, let's be mindful that those individuals are the ones who desire love the most. Help us all Lord to see past coldness, past bitterness, past meanness and into the hearts of those who need to be loved the most. In the precious name of Jesus, Amen!

PLEASE PRAY FOR CODY AND HIS FAMILY!

DEAR FRIENDS, I AM PERSONALLY ASKING YOU A SERIOUS FAVOR. PLEASE PRAY FOR CODY AND HIS FAMILY!
Mr. Cody Mading is an amazing 17 year old young man, he and his family are dear friends of my son and I.
Just last September Cody had 2 surgeries to remove a "Medula Blastoma" a very seriously cancer tumor on the back of his brain, followed by chemo and radiation.

Last night Cody suffered a seizure and was rushed to the hospital. They found that he has another tumor on his brain. He fought this battle and won, and is now in this fight for the second time!

“LETS SEND ANGELS TO FLIGHT, SHAKE THE FOUNDATIONS OF HELL AND PROCLAIM VICTORY IN JESUS MIGHTY NAME”

Mr. Tiger Woods & Family (To judge you is to judge ourselves)


Dear Mr. Tiger Woods

Sometimes we experience life-changing obstacles as we walk through life's various roads. In those crossroads or moments of awkwardness we can chose to take a detour on to the road of awareness -- that one human being; judging another human being is outlandish.

It makes for attention-grabbing news reports, magazine sales and blog topics. Hopefully making this world to feel better about them!

To judge you is to judge ourselves.

This letter is to give you a clear understanding of what is most significant, and that is the family -- your family, keeping the family together. To place a circle of love and protection around your family, with
prayer, love and respect for each member.

We judge you not. There is healing, love and forgiveness on the road to awareness -- on the detour to awareness.

Sir, you have given what you can to the game of golf and also to many families that you've supported through education and sportsmanship. We, our fans and admirers are ever aware. Who better has this knowledge than you? If a part of the game is weak, do we not work to make it stronger? On this road to awareness, the same applies. We can become stronger with the blinders off, only to watch your problems fall by the wayside.

A mother, father, and children protected -- who would have imagined? How far has society fallen when family crises are cheered? Money, papers and blogs aside, what have we become? Have you gossiped, given your opinion, joked and read the stories, knowing our values are ever before us?

What must the children think, do they hurt --- are you they sad? Does mom cry, what do you think? Communities are we giving dad time to rethink? It's about family, it's about our families, it about our nation.

Some things may be fodder for the comedy mills, but this topic is not. The sacred institution of the family is at risk. Let us not forget to stay on the path of awareness.

AN I-GOD?

WHAT IF WE COULD HAVE AN I-GOD?
Please help me welcome a priceless young lady. She is a gift to Selah by collaborating with me on Selah's 1st post. I consider her a friend, a brilliant writer and editor. When called upon for her support, she has been totally unselfish with her talents.
She loves God, lives in Massachusetts, and helps grade school kids with reading and writing in her spare time. She also volunteers at her church, and is thinking about starting an affordable resume service.

Today, we are surrounded by technology, like the I-pod. It does amazing things like search for restaurants, find streets and addresses.

Wouldn’t it be nice to find God's plan for our lives like that? What if we could have an "i-God"? Just by touching the navigation screen, we could find God's plan for our lives...God's will. The Bible is like a compass too. We must search it to help us navigate the course of our lives. But God's plan is not something we actually search out--in fact, God's plan finds us.

Isn't that incredible?

The more we learn of His word and read the Bible, his divine plan, the Holy Spirit finds us. The Bible says, to seek first the kingdom of God, and all these things will be added unto you. For committed Christians, the Bible can be compared to the I-Pod gadget. Although the Bible requires careful study and meditating on His word-- there is nothing else that can be compared to it. It has the power to transform, imbue wisdom, and send forth miracles and healing for the soul and relationships. Hallelujah! Thank God for His undescribable gift.

TO MY CHILDREN (My Father's Day Letter)

No one can remove you from my heart; no one but God see's the room you all hold. You all are gifts; having your own souls.

When I talk to God about each you, I can never finish (truly I can't start), seeing over the tears, my heart just races.

Father God said if you think it --- He'll know it, than I could feel him wipe my tears away.

I said; Father, is that how you feel about us? Looking closer, I saw a tear drop. No one will know or measure a soul. Son my love is too wide, it’s too-deep-to contain, so we both wept until I dropped, and how I understood, to this very day.

So when I look at you now and you see a tear in my eye, for no reason at all. Your dad’s love is too deep and too wide for you all; just wipe it away.

You all are loved. You're my gifts the giver gave! You to me and me to you; you all know of this love (from a child you were told).

You played Church and had fun. Called it Father Day love.

So, I am Dad possessed, with his love, but if I see a tear I won’t say a word. I'll know it was Dad; we all are surrounded in his love. It's the room you all hold because my children, no one can remove you from my soul.

DON’T GIVE UP!


A wife, mother and advocate of Selah. She is filled with the Wisdom, knowledge and love of the Word of God. Her Ministry is saturated with the power of God. He has annointed and appointed her to pray and work with women young and mature who are struggling with life issues.
God has given her great revelation into relationship problems. She is a fighter as you will soon witness. Her marriage to the same person has endured over 28+years. She is a career woman (Full Time), a lover of sports, fast cars and traveling --- all while attending Rhema Bible College. As she will tell you, her greatest accomplishment is mothering her two sons' (oldest just graduated from High School).
Selah, take this moment to help me thank Mrs. Peggy Ann Dickerson for her support and for sharing her powerful testimony of love.

It is so easy in life to just give up and throw in the towel. It doesn’t matter if you are throwing in the towel to a marriage that is not going your way, to a job where there are conflicts with co-workers/bosses, school with teachers/peers who don’t like you, or even to a baseball/football game with bad calls.

Life just doesn’t seem fair some times.

Let me take you back in time (approximately 18 years). I was approximately how old?
Well we won’t go there (I’m a female and that’s my prerogative). But, my husband and I were trying to have a baby.

We had been married about ten years and had been trying to have a child the whole time.
Every now and then we would play the blame game. “It’s your fault” “No – It’s your fault because you’re shooting blanks.” There were many miscarriages as well. In the midst of all this, God must have a sense of humor because for some crazy reason women who were trying to conceive would always come to me for prayer.

I would pray for them and next thing you know, I am receiving a phone call, “Guess what? I’m pregnant.”

Well one day I was thinking about the prayers prayed and the women and their babies.
I was happy for them and at the same time very sad for myself.

There was such an emptiness inside of me. I so longed for a child of my own. My husband would not adopt (So that was out of the question). For me – I didn’t care – I just wanted a child.

I asked God “why”? when I prayed for other women they would conceive but when I prayed for myself nothing happened. It just did not make sense except that I really had a lot of compassion for them and could feel their pain (relate to what they were going through).

I was reading in I Samuel Chapter 1: about Hannah and her desires to conceive. I could totally relate to her situation.

The story of Hannah touched my heart and I prayed and told my God that if he would open my womb to conceive, I would dedicate that child to him and he could use that child for his work and glory.

But not only that, I would still love him and not be upset if it were his desire for me to not have children.

Shortly, after that prayer, God opened my womb so that I could conceive (Pregnancy is the most incredible experience ever). Feeling that child move inside of you is so awesome.

While pregnant, I would each evening rock my baby in the rocking chair and read the bible out loud to my belly and pray for my baby and praise God for the gift he was giving to me.

God blessed me with an awesome son. From the day he was born he has brought total joy into my life.

Every time I look at him, I see him as a wonderful gift given to my husband and I from such a loving God who really does hear your cries in the middle of the night.

My son is now 17 years old and has just graduated from High School (Did I say he is wonderful). I am so very proud of him.

He received Jesus as his Lord and Savior on his own when he was in middle school.

He is built like a football player and played football in High School but also has a gentle spirit with compassion for others who are hurting and I know God has wonderful plans for his future (Did I say he is; Ok..ok…lol).

In sharing this experience (to be honest). I could have become very bitter and not prayed for those women who were going through the same thing. I could have slipped into a depression. I could have had some major pity parties, or even became angry with God.

But I chose to Praise God through the storm. Selah, keep the faith and do not give up.
There was a wonderful blessing waiting on the other side.

Giving up is easy and that is what the enemy wants us to do. I don’t give up on anything because I believe Christ doesn’t give up. I wouldn’t want him to give up on me and throw the towel in.

DONT GET IT TWISTED

Our God is amazing. He wants you to come to him on your terms. The forty question list before you come to him is pointless. Listening to people who tell you, you got to get it together before you go to him is worthless. Trying to change your life on your own before you come to him is madness. He will never reject you, he can’t. He would be rejecting himself. He could not cast you out, he can’t cast out himself. He will by no means say you are not important, worthless or insignificant. He gave his life to create a permanent link between God and man. He is the Christ, he is the only one named Jesus! ...SELAH!!!

PEACE IS INDEED A POSITION OF POWER


Each day, opportunities arise to upset us, become frustrated or become offended.

Plans didn’t work out; someone was rude at your work place.

We can also bring it upon ourselves by performing a task which should have taken an hour and ended up taking three.

Life is full of inconveniences; but although circumstances cannot always be controlled, we can control our reactions to those circumstances.

Something so simple may be hard for others, but we should start each day with a positive attitude, full of hope and at the same time recognize most days are not going to go exactly as we plan.

People should remember, we were created to live in peace and were given a purpose driven life to lead.

Peace is indeed a position of power and if you become stressed or upset over petty situations, you’re giving up your power.

Make a decision to release those offenses and disappointments so you live in peace and move forward in the power and victory the Lord has for you!

Good sense makes a man restrain his anger, and it is his glory to overlook a transgression or an offense"

Memorial Day (A Letter to My Brother)


Greetings, On this Day of Remembrance which is called Memorial Day.

Sehal open its heart up to a wonderful friend and classmate by preserving his memory, as written by his loving sister Ms Renee D. Ferguson.

Renee is a loving Mother of a teen daughter; she is also engaged and owns her own line of jewelry while maintaining a full-time job. In-addition she holds a Bachelors degree in Telecommunications. She enjoys writing & reading poetry “spoken word”. Other interest include: Football, car racing, cooking, reading books. Sehal readers; come with me as we read a powerful letter of remembrance --- from the heart of the amazing sister ( letter to her big brother) of Mr. Duane Toatley.

When my brother passed, it felt as though I was hit by a ton of bricks. My heart was so very heavy, I couldn’t breathe and my train of thought dissipated.

I felt it all within a matter of seconds of being told the traumatic news. Who, what, why, when, where was all answered in the blink of an eye.

That’s how quickly it can happen, a milli-second, a life here today and gone tomorrow, my brother departed. His time in this world was already set. His life in the new world had begun and I’m joyful for his new beginning.

Of course, this was not my thought at the time, I was upset because in my mind, it was not his time and no one had the right to take him from me, his wife, children, mother, father, sister, and friends.

Though the Father wants only good for his children and would bring no harm or pain to them, he knows when it’s time to call us home.

Each of us had to continue to find peace within ourselves and bring it to the circle in which we live. We had to strive to be sources of love, compassion and comfort to one another through a time of not death, but celebration of life.

My brother the free spirit, deeply loved, athletically built, intellectual mind and true love for all was such a gift to us.

His smile was captivating and his gift of gab could persuade so easily. He gave his contribution while here on earth.

God replaced our sorrows with happiness; a touch of love is what he gives. God painted his canvas around you brother and you came alive, a new rebirth.

I treasure the memories and I also Thank God for the Blessing of remembrance.

Brother do your remember the days when we took turns playing 45 records in your room and pretend we’re Earth, Wind & Fire, Marvin Gaye & Tammy Terrell, oh and The Temptations singing and performing the dance moves to “Ball of Confusion”…what skills.

Do you remember when the family would drive to Florida for vacation and you & I would be in the backseat of the car having “Staring” contest. I could never win because your eyes would change colors and seemed as though they would spin like a gyroscope. I would always ask mom, how come he got the pretty eyes…I smile. I remember you allowing me to hang with you to the football and breakfast parties. You always checked on me to make sure I was ok and no one was trying to pick with me….my big bro.

Do you remember when we spent the night at our Aunts house and you made Cousin Ganie & I fight like we were in a boxing ring. Oh you had it all set up and ready for action. Once both of us starting crying from exhaustion, you let us stop and announce a winner or lack of…I laugh.

Do you remember when mom was calling us in the house from playing and we decided to race home. Mom was standing at the screen door holding it open for us and I ran into the ashtray she had in her hand because both of us couldn’t squeeze through. Wow, I had a black eye for about two weeks…ouch.

Do you remember when you made Chubby & I dance by shooting at our feet with a BB gun, like you were Clint Eastwood from one of his westerns….I laugh, then smile.

Do you remember during my Jr. Prom, my date & I were driving to a hotel, where I didn’t want to go. We saw you and gave you a lift home as you were walking from work and when you got out to go in the house, I did also…Thanks bro.

Do you remember when we went to our Aunt & Uncle’s house when they had crab feasts. We were so excited because we’d sneak in the kitchen and couldn’t believe how much crab meat was left. We later learned it was not crab meat but the lungs of the crab. We always wondered why it was so chewy and we couldn’t swallow it…yuck.

Do you remember when you enlisted in the Marine Corp and I was so proud of you. When you came home to visit, I would always brag and say...”My brother, the Few, the Proud, the “MARINE”….amazing!

I remember, I remember, I remember so much more and I will always Thank God for Memories, the good times, bad times, exciting times, special times, but it was all our time.

Protection of Love

Do you realize God commands everyone to Love?
If you observe 1 Corinthians it states love is the greatest thing.
Love is all that matters on this earth, and it's all that will last in eternity.
Be aware that the Love God refers to is limited.
It’s not, selfish or self-seeking love, nor is it evil.
We are protected when we walk in love.
If you bask in egotistical, self-centered love, it can open the door to confusion and every evil work.
But when we walk in love, when we choose to put others first, when we choose to be patient and kind and walk in unity, we are protected by love.
We close the door to the plans of the enemy in our lives.
Check your love walk and see if you emulate the characteristics of love.
Remember love is not a feeling, it’s a choice.
Choose love and feel the coverage of a force field of protection that cannot be penetrated.

LOVE BETWEEN THEM AND ME

I looked into the eyes of God and what did I see, the love he has for sinners and the first one was me.

All I wanted to know is that he still loves me and this is what he said to me. “I answered that question son long ago!”

Tell them I needed a miracle and they were all made into the image of me. I (God) opened my mouth and said “Let there Be!”

So each of us was made from your voice on the command of Let there Be?

Yes son you were made by Love and I used what I knew. I AM that I AM!

The earth obeys the command of “Let there Be?”

Tell them to look at the soil of life in it they will find me.

I’ve gave the Redeemer, it is what he does, why do they look for a man?

Who I’ve washed in my blood; somehow things got twisted, I AM still Love!

I do need them, I’ve always did --- who told them my soil was something to dread.

So son build their self-confidence in my authority, I say-so!

Now, be free, free to praise me and not what they do.

I’ll take care of that! I AM that I AM! I love it when they love me back.

Tell them remember the soil and the command, “Let there Be.”

Love between them and me! Selah!

STOP, READ and HEAR

“God's Love for You, God's Love for Me"


I pray that you ... may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long
and high and deep is the love of Christ (Ephesians 3:17-19).

When counseling with people suffering from anxiety or depression, I often take them to one of my favorite passages in the Bible: "Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7). I love this verse because it says why we can cast our anxiety on God—because he cares for us. Imagine that! God, the creator of everything that exists, actually cares for you and me!

Do you experience God's love for us? Or do you sometimes think you are all alone in the world? Or that God doesn't love you? If so, you are not alone. Multitudes of people today, Christians and non-Christians, have similar thoughts. This was also true when Paul was alive. Look at what he said when he prayed that the Ephesians would deeply know God's love.

I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge-that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever! Amen (Ephesians 3:16-21).

The Ephesians did not fully grasp God's love for them. If this is true of you, too, prayerfully study the following Scriptures on God's love for you. As you read, ask God to help you believe and accept the wonders of his mighty love for us.

Accept God's love for us and the new life Jesus offers.

Jesus offers each of us a walk with God and a fullness of life that is not possible without him. As he said, "I am the bread of life" (John 6:35), and "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). He also said, "I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again" (John 3:3). Jesus' death, resurrection, and offer of eternal life are the greatest manifestation of God's love for you.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16).

But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved (Ephesians 2:4-5).
