Dear Mr. Tiger Woods
Sometimes we experience life-changing obstacles as we walk through life's various roads. In those crossroads or moments of awkwardness we can chose to take a detour on to the road of awareness -- that one human being; judging another human being is outlandish.
It makes for attention-grabbing news reports, magazine sales and blog topics. Hopefully making this world to feel better about them!
To judge you is to judge ourselves.
This letter is to give you a clear understanding of what is most significant, and that is the family -- your family, keeping the family together. To place a circle of love and protection around your family, with
prayer, love and respect for each member.
We judge you not. There is healing, love and forgiveness on the road to awareness -- on the detour to awareness.
Sir, you have given what you can to the game of golf and also to many families that you've supported through education and sportsmanship. We, our fans and admirers are ever aware. Who better has this knowledge than you? If a part of the game is weak, do we not work to make it stronger? On this road to awareness, the same applies. We can become stronger with the blinders off, only to watch your problems fall by the wayside.
A mother, father, and children protected -- who would have imagined? How far has society fallen when family crises are cheered? Money, papers and blogs aside, what have we become? Have you gossiped, given your opinion, joked and read the stories, knowing our values are ever before us?
What must the children think, do they hurt --- are you they sad? Does mom cry, what do you think? Communities are we giving dad time to rethink? It's about family, it's about our families, it about our nation.
Some things may be fodder for the comedy mills, but this topic is not. The sacred institution of the family is at risk. Let us not forget to stay on the path of awareness.
To the Woods family, we love you all.
