A SELAH MOMENT (A MESSAGE TO MY BROTHERS)

To: The Ambassador and Da’truth
From: Terence Efrem Gray Sr., (Founder of Selah & Co.)
Blessings to you both and your family members.

My Dear Brothers in the Lord,

Brothers, I love you and pray for you always, and make no mistake about it, there are no stones in my hands. I know of God’s healing powers and I know God is loving you both at this moment. Remember the Word of God states; it’s better to obey than to sacrifice.

We at Selah & Co., thank you both for your obedience and respect of the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ. Your humility at this time of difficulty in your personal lives are healing numerous believers of Christ all over the world.

When I see my brothers and sisters hurting I cannot standby in silence. My brothers please permit our Lord to shine through always, as each follower of the Gospel (Old and New) were portrayed for their highs and lows. God’s love shined for each of them to this very day, which has liberated you and me to serve him unconditionally.
Please remember bothers it is why we all need a Savior; you, your wives, your family members and your leadership (Church), your friends, supporters, the saved, unsaved and me.
The power of the cross you both believe in as I do --- brothers stand with me at its foot in this moment and we together can see the cleansing blood of the Master.
My brothers now let’s pick up our crosses in the remembrance of our brother who help Jesus with his. I (Terence Sr.,) will help you both with yours, if you help me with mine and we all can follow the love of our lives always; our brother, our Lord, our redeemer, our friend and Savior, Jesus the Christ – Jehovah Go’el.

With all Love and Respect,
Terence Efrem Gray Sr.,

A powerful message from Evangelist Rabia of Believers of Christ Ministries Pakistan

Role of Woman in the Church

The Bible speaks of how women are to conduct themselves in worship. In 1 Corinthians 14:34-36 we read, "Let your women keep silent in the churches, for they are not permitted to speak; but they are to be submissive, as the law also says. And if they want to learn something, let them ask their own husbands at home; for it is shameful for women to speak in church, for Adam was formed first, then Eve." This command of God is not hard to understand. But some want to ignore it and do what seems right in their own eyes.

The Bible explains why women are to keep silent and why they are not permitted to speak in church. It was because "Adam was formed first, then Eve." This is the way God has specified that it will be. God speaking to Eve in Genesis 3:16, "Unto the woman He said…your desire shall be to your husband, and he shall rule over you." The reason women are to be submissive and not speak in the worship of the church is God has specified that the man is to rule over the woman. Many people do not approve of what God has done, but this is still God’s business. As we read in Romans 9:20, "But indeed, O man, who are you to reply against God? Will the thing formed say to him who formed it, why have you made me like this?" Who are we to question God?

Also in 1 Timothy 2:11-13 God’s word to us says, "Let a woman learn in silence with all submission. And I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man, but to be in silence For Adam was first formed, then Eve." God’s word is very clear. It says it is not to be permitted. In other words it is forbidden. When we do things that are forbidden by God it is sin. It is sin which separates us from God and sin will cause us to be lost eternally.

When a woman gets up before the church to teach, preach, lead prayer, or lead singing, she is in violation of what God has commanded. She is perverting the worship of God. As a result of this rebellion, God is not worshipped in spirit and in truth. As we have already seen, worship becomes vain or useless when we follow the desires of men instead of what God wants. To ignore what God has said has horrible consequences.

Dear Brother Terence,

Greeting in His name.
I'm so happy to see your blog & to know about your work. I believe we together will bring new zeal in our peoples by His Holy Spirit.

May the Lord continue to bless you & your work.

In His name Amen!

EVERYTHING!

God is bigger than: our complaining, our excuses, our blaming and procrastination.

He’s bigger than our judgmental attitudes, our lack of compassion, immature ways and our unforgiving way.

He’s bigger than our unfruitful growth, our inflexibilities, our laziness and our prideful ways.

He’s bigger than our disobedience, our lack of wisdom and understanding of his ways, our greed and our lack of faith in his abilities to father us.

God is bigger than our disappointments, our pain, our relationships and our sins. David, Goliath, Saul and Kings.

God is bigger than Presidents, Priests, Queens and lords. God is bigger than you and me (Totally one at the same time three).

God is bigger than everything. Wanting nothing and having everything. Your Heart rests in the hands of the King.

Stand tall, God our father is bigger than everything. Selah!

RUN TO YOUR CROSS, DON'T RUN AWAY

We all have a cross to bear: Jesus, the Master said “And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.”
Don’t run away from your cross, take it up, obey the Master’s Word and don’t give up your cross.

They taunted the Savior to come down from his cross and he would not.
What are you dealing with?
Do you feel like the weight of this world is on your shoulders?
 Are you having money issues?
 Relationship issues?
 Educational issues?
 Emotional (Depression)?
 Employment issues?
 Health issues?
 Spiritual issues?
 Family issues?
 Issues of loss (of loves and friends)?

Whatever the issues are, you and the Lord can carry it together. Isn’t it time just to be a doer of the Word of God? We read it, we sing it and we hear it preached. How about simply obeying it? Selah!

Locate your cross (seeing it as a Blessing) take it up, and follow Jesus by obeying and doing the Words of God.

We all have a cross to bear; no excuses, no blame and no complaining.
So pick up your cross and He’ll turn your complaining into Praise, blaming into a Blessing and excuses into forgiveness.

You are loved,
Terence E Gray Sr.,

HE IS NOT HERE; HE HAS RISEN, JUST AS HE SAID!

After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb. There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it. His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men. The angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples: 'He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.' Now I have told you. "So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell his disciples. Suddenly Jesus met them. "Greetings," he said. They came to him, clasped his feet and worshiped him. Then Jesus said to them, "Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see me."

How was your resurrection day (Easter)? Talk to me! Much love Terence Sr.,

THAT STUFF (by Terence Efrem Gray Sr.,)

TAKE A MOMENT, PULL UP A CHAIR AND GRAB SOME TEA - ENJOY!

You need money for the stuff, that stuff you want
Your stuff that stuffs now has cuffs

Shackle down, you are blocked and tackled
Worried about how to get it and how to keep it
Ups and downs, downs and ups – we all are hurrying for what?

Sitting in my chair, day of snow flurries
WOW! The splendor of the moon is clear – big spender

It’s free like the sea, in a moment in time ---time of release
I am at peace, cares has now ceased. Maybe I will worry again tomorrow, not today!
Looking for more of the free; trees and birds, once a blur, give me more air, land and sea.

Roses, daisy and honeysuckles, a small tulip – all free!
A smile and a joke, getting choked.

Add some free things to your life, your mind needs a break.
Awake --- good-bye-worries I got work to do.

-Terence-

Sehal God is listening “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened”.

Who are you asking?
Who are you seeking?
What are you knocking on?

Look until the next time I love more…
